At Nashville Concierge Medicine and Suboxone+Primary Care™, your privacy is not a policy — it’s a promise.  We protect your medical information with the same care and attention we bring to your health. Every record, message, and telemedicine visit follows federal and state privacy law, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the HITECH Act.

How We Protect Your Privacy

1. Confidential Relationship – Your relationship with Dr. William Conway, MD, is private and protected. Only you, Dr. Conway, and his medical assistants have access to your medical record. Information is never shared with family unless you give us written consent for sharing. Medical records are never released without your written authorization.
2. Secure Records and Communications – All patient information (from lab results to messages) is stored in encrypted, HIPAA-compliant systems.
   Whether you meet in-office or online, your data stays within secure, access-controlled servers.
3. Telemedicine Privacy – Online visits use HIPAA-certified video platforms. Sessions are never recorded without consent, and connections are encrypted end-to-end to protect against interception or unauthorized access. We are currently installing a very expensive internet connection for our use only.
4. Minimum Necessary Standard – We share only the minimum information required to coordinate your care — nothing more.  Our team follows strict access rules to ensure your information stays in trusted hands.
5. Your Rights as a Patient – You have the right to see, copy, and correct your medical record at any time.  You can request an accounting of disclosures and limit who receives your information.  If a privacy breach ever occurs, you will be notified immediately in compliance with HIPAA and HITECH requirements.
